Bordeaux-Meriginac 10-7-2020 Indians

Finally got some time to do some edits on my shots last vacation to Southern France, lets start with Bordeaux-Meriginac where the Rafales are build at this time for the Indian Air Force, i was Lucky to get an single seater and a twin stick that morning.

Indian Air Force C-17 went into BOD today .
Anybody have intel on the date of 1st RAFALE delivery ( supposedly 5 Stücke )

The Indian Rafales are expected to arrive at Ambala AFS on Wednesday 29 July. I assume they will depart Bordeaux this Monday (27 July).

Which C-17 arrived at Bordeaux?

C-17 was CB-8001 .
Indeed the likelihood of Delivery says from BOD , however all the media suggests delivery from Istres

Indian media reported 27 July at first (29/30jun):

Abstract:
Four a/c, later requested to get 6 in the first delivery due to rising tensions with China.
Delivery from Istres, 10 hour flight to Al Dhafra supported by French A330
night stop
Onward to India, support by Indian tankers on that leg.

Later, around 20 July, the Indian MoD stated:
To be 'inducted' 29 July after their 'imminent arrival' at Ambala and to be forward deployed after that, pending official media reception event set for somewehere in august.

The factory is indeed at Bordeaux, but the Dassault Flight Test Centre is at Istres-le-Tubé.
Other Rafale deliveries took place from Istres as well (Egypt for example). And pre-delivery flight training for Qatar takes place there too I think.
So, it is not uncommon that deliveries take place from Istres.

Thanks for your input & I'm well aware of all the possibilities . ( Qatar deliveries have been from BOD .. I believe )

First wave with 3 a/c to leave LFBD Monday at 0823L, second at 0838L, C-17 by 1208L IFC3220, all to AlDhafra, Arrow1-5. Support is out of Istres by 2 A330, FAF4061 to AlDhafra, FAF4063 to Delhi, hope this clarifies any questions.
