Wittmund/Harlesiel Mil/Civ 15/16-06-2020

Post by janneman36 »

The following are taken on Monday, we expected to see the Top aces leave that day too Nordholz..Three of them left that day eventually.
The western side of the field is not interesting anymore as they had placed a double fence and even with a ladder it is impossible too take pictures of the aircraft lining up!
Landing shots are still possible but during these days they were on the move so mostly take-off only..

Thankfully the next day we had a northern westerly wind ....

Nice pictures. Those Alpha jets never looked better, although civil nowadays. Can you tell where is the double fence when taken Scramble airfield guide as a reference?

Thank you very much. The spot on the Scramble airfield guide is spot number 4 regarding the double fence ..
Maybe useless to say but landingshots are still possible!
