Shanghai-Hongqiao 5 and 6 October 2019

Post by LifelinerOne »

Hej!

Work needed me to be for a week in Wuxi and the best way to travel there is via Shanghai. After arriving at Pudong I made my way to Hongqiao airport as I had reserved a room in the Boyue Airport Hotel at Terminal 2. The view from the room was perfect, but weather, the window and heathwaves made photography challenging. Nevertheless I made some nice pictures.

1. China Southern operates their Dreamliners in a different livery and B787-9 B-1168 has extra 787th Boeing 787-titles.

2. BA-tail look-a-like A320neo B-300L of Lucky Air:

3. Juneyao Airlines operates a fleet of A320s, A321s and B787s like this B787-9 B-1115:

4. B-208A is wearing a different livery:

5. During my stay I managed to catch 5 B777-300ERs of China Southern:

6. This A330-300 B-5976 of China Eastern is wearing a special Toy Story/Disney Resort Shanghai-livery:

7. Coloful Tibet Airlines A330-200 B-1047 is taxiing out for its flight to Chengdu:

8. Of course Shanghai Airlines can also be seen, flying with B737s, B787s and A330s. Here's B787-9 B-20D8:

9. Almost missed this as I thought it was a Shanghai Airlines-plane, but it was China United Airlines B737-800 B-1148:

10. Push-backed for its flight back to Beijing is B747-8 B-2485 of Air China:

11. Lots of China Eastern at Hongqiao, like this B777-300ER B-7881. Let's not talk about the livery...
