Hej everybody,

work brought me to Montreal and I gave myself a day extra for some spotting before work started.

I had never been spotting in Canada, so this visit gave me a good oppertunity to catch some Canadian stuff. Here's my selection of this day:

1. Government of Quebec CL-601 C-GQBQ taking off:
ImageCL6-PVT-CGQBQ-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

2. I think the new livery of Air Canada looks really good. Here's Air Canada Express CRJ900 C-GJZT:
ImageCRJ9-ACX-CGJZT-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

3. Flights to Mexico are quite popular from Montreal. Next to several Canadian flying there, two Mexican airlines fly to YUL, like InterJet, here with A320 XA-ECO, which has special green lines in its livery:
ImageA320-ITJ-XAECO-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

4. Montreal is heavily used by Air Canada Rouge with A319s, A321s and B767s. Here is A319 C-GJVY taking off:
ImageA319-ACR-CGJVY-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

5. Still in the old livery is Air Canada Express CRJ200 C-GUJA:
ImageCRJ2-ACX-CGUJA-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

6. When parked at the gate I thought this was an United B737-800, but it was much nicer; Copa B737-800 HP-1856CMP:
ImageB738-COP-HP1856CMP-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

7. Air Creebec operates a fleet of mainly DHC-8s like this C-FCLU:
ImageDHC8-CRB-CFCLU-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

8. Air Canada Express DHC-8-300 C-GABO banking left after take-off from runway 24L:
ImageDHC8-ACX-CGABO-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

9. Air Saint Pierre is an airline from the small island of St. Pierre in front of Canada and has a fleet consisting of this ATR42 F-OFSP:
ImageATR42-ASP-FOFSP-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

10. The return-flight to Mexico by Aeromexico's B737-800 N957AM was cancelled when the plane went tech. Here seen while being towed to the hangars:
ImageB738-AMX-N957AM-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

11. Definitely one of the highlights was this beautiful B737-200C C-GMAI from Air Inuit. What a noice and what a pretty livery!
ImageB732-INU-CGMAI-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

12. Surprising to see GetJet here at Montreal. A319 LY-KIT was flying for Sunwing, subbing for their grounded B737MAX8s:
ImageA319-GTJ-LYKIT-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

13. At YUL you mainly see the commuter sister companies from the main US-carriers like American Eagle, Delta Connection and United Express. Here's ERJ140 N812AE from American Eagle in the old livery, looking very worn:
ImageE140-AAE-N812AE-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

14. A big surprise was the flight of Air Canada B737MAX8 C-GEJL, seen here departing to Val d'Or on a testflight:
ImageB738M-ACA-CGEJL-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

15. Nice to catch this Trans States Airlines ERJ145 N836HK:
ImageE145-TSA-N836HK-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

16. This B737-400C C-FFNC from First Air is an old KLM-plane:
ImageB734-FST-CFFNC-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

17. Another Quebec Government CL-601 is this C-GURG, which is clearly being used as an air ambulance:
ImageCL601-PVT-CGURG-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

18. Just because they are so pretty; second Air Inuit B737-200C was this C-GSPW:
ImageB732-INU-CGSPW-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

19. Qatar Airways operates two flights a day; one direct one from Doha with the B777-300ER like this A7-BAG, and one with an A330-200 via Barcelona:
ImageB773-QTR-A7BAG-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

20. Air Transat calls Montreal home and here's very new A321neoLR C-GOIE arriving back home from Basle:
ImageA321NX-TSA-CGOIE-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

21. Sunwing also operates some flights, but mainly with leased aircraft from carriers like GetJet. So, B737-800 C-FWGH was nice to photograph:
ImageB738-SWG-CFWGH-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

22. Sorry for the heatwaves, but it's not always I photograph a Falcon 20 freighter from Kalitta Charters:
ImageDA20F-KLT-N226CK-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

23. WestJet doesn't have a very large operation at Montreal and flies mainly with DHC-8-400Qs and sometimes a B737. Here's C-GWEJ:
ImageDHC84-WST-CGWEJ-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

24. Catch them while you can; Air Transat A310-300ET C-GLAT:
ImageA313-TSA-CGLAT-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

25. This Air Canada Express DHC-8-300 C-FSOU is still flying in the Jazz Air-livery:
ImageDHC8-JZZ-CFSOU-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

26. The only something bigger from WestJet that I was able to photograph this day was B737-700 C-FWSY:
ImageB737-WST-CFWSY-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

27. Another local DHC-operator is Porter Airlines; here is DHC-8-400Q C-GLQZ:
ImageDHC84-PRT-CGLQZ-YUL8sep19 by Anton Homma, on Flickr

28. And I end this selection with this Air Inuit DHC-8-300 C-FYAI. Unfortunately these didn't fly on this Sunday:
