[PICS] Frisian Flag Week 12 & 13

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

As requested in the Frisian Flag 2017 topic some (quite a lot actually) pictures taken in the week of the arrivals and will probably add some from this week.


Monday 20-3-2017

1. The week started good with the arrival of three C-17's. The first two C-17's arrived even within 15 minutes but unfortunately the weather wasn't that great...

2. Third C-17 was a bit better being C-17A 07-7180.

Tuesday 21-3-2017

3. The first visitor at this day was CN235 198/62-HF.

4. Another visitor: F-16BM FB-18, not related to FF but a nice visitor nevertheless.

5. And this day again a C-17. This time from McGuire being C-17A 02-1098

Wednesday 22-3-2017

7. Nice support for the Portuguese delegation.

Thursday 23-3-2017

8. Due to power breakdown at school I was fortunately just in time for the final Tornado's that day.

10. Another nice visitor that day was this C-130H-30 from Spain as support for Portugal.

After this C-130 arrived, some Germans also arrived but the pics of those EF2000's will come in the report of week 13 otherwise this post is going to be very big...(I hope it isn't already)

Friday 24-3-2017

11. My day started with this beautiful C-160R from the French Air Force as support for the Mirage 2000D's.

I believe 'some stars' refer to some victories in air-to-air combats. Commonly known as 'kills'.... :wink:

three kills during the 1991 Gulf War (two Su-22's and one MiG-23) to be exact.

Was already aware of that :wink:.

And thanks for the comments! Today I tried to make some pics in Cornjum. Personally I didn't like it much so not much pictures from that spot. On the other hand take off pictures were better this time. Hope for runway 05 in use next week...
