Where do you upload pictures to?

Post by Flanker27 »

I am curious. With so many uploading possibilities on the internet nowadays, which site is the most used to get your pictures viewed on.

For instance, and I do not want to start a discussion of which is the better for any reason. I mean, I have one pic on Aliners and it not my best but has been viewed for 978 times since 2 months or so, but I got 2 on Airfighters since a few days, and the site is quicker, more friendly and whatsover. All my good pics are on hyves as well, as it is my personal site. So here we go with some options. Join this new Poll!

P.S. Aviationphotos I mean myaviation.net of course, the subsite of airliners

if I had to chose between my own site or airfighters.com I'd stick to my own site as a priority...

Maybe an idea to put Jetphotos.net in the list?
I think also a lot of people upload there some pictures.

Just happen to read this and added the option. I do not dear change the order without risking to mix the results, though. Therefore I changed your text slightly.

In my case the answer is: Scramble forum, Airliners.net, own site.

Personal Hyves with an occasional link to the photo forum of scramble.

Tried to get some posted on airliners.net, all rejected so far. Guess I've got some more learning/practicing to do

Hiya,

not in the list above...

but www.planespotters.net is a good site to share my pics to the community and also a good source for commercial aviation fleets, which automatically is connected with the photo database.

Cheers,
Eric

Of course I put my pictures on our own website, together with those of my brothers in crime. However, to save some euros on data usage these have a rather small filesize (on average 100kb).
I posted some pictures on this forum before, which I uploaded to http://www.imageshack.us" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (free). You can put larger files on it so the perceived quality is much higher.

In the list http://www.planepictures.net is missing!

With already 681762 photo's in the database it's should be in the list :D

And yes, I upload there and at jetphotos.net. Stopped uploading to airliners.net as it was too difficult for them to change my e-mail address.

Own site, some on the scramble forum, but never on a commercial site like airliners, jetphotos or whatever
