Req: camera settings for twilight afterburner

Post by bunt »

I will visit the Lightning twilight run next weekend and would like to know what camera setting to use? I will be using a 1DmkX with 24-105 L4. Settings: RAW, ISO as high as possible without too much noise, IS on, monopod, manual settings ( but which?), high burst, 2/3+, maybe external flash.
Looking forward hearing your replies.

You need settings for the run or for the night shot?
For the run, forgot your flash, it will be probably useless and you might "pollute" others pictures. Don't go to high in Iso and remenber that the afterburner will create "light" so will incruise a bit your speed.
Hope to see your pics as I wanted to go there this year.
