Never seen the BBMF Dakota on Caen during those days, only G-ANAF in new splendid RAF markings and only carrying it’s original KP220 serial
The BBMF operated from elsewhere..

That was indeed the one I have seen flying but that one (ZA947) featured nose art as well as "UK" titles around the nose, this one had no additional markings at all but definately featured RAF roundels and invasion stripes as being the only noticable markings
Did you already recieve the serial already from the NH90?
I didn't, I'm also still short of the serial of the TB-30 that crossed the beach slightly west of Omaha Beach aroung 13.00h on the 6th..., anyone?
Tried to look for the serials on live mode-2 SBS reports but couldn't get back that far, perhaps anyone has access to those reports?
Four out of five TB.30s that were active in the area did have a special tail, so if you have a photo, it will be easy to identify (even if it is a long distance shot).

The one on my picture has no special tail, just the regular dark grew with orange tip so please share her id with me?...
