I plan to be at this show as it is only a 4 hour drive for me. Looks to be quite a lineup! Very Excited about the Ukranian participants!

Is there any transportation from the train station to the airfield ? Any schedule for the flying program? I want to see the Su24 and Su27 fly. My flight wont be into Prague until 11:00 am so I am leaning on staying in Prague and seeing the Airplane museum on Sat and the airshow on Sun. If the Ukrainians aren't flying until late afternoon I will go to the airshow both days. Any info or suggestions ? Yes I have checked their facebook and webpages. Thanks.

Yes, there will be a bus from the bus station (Terminál HD) via the train station (Hlavni Nádrazi, bus stop F) to the airport. More info on http://airshow.cz/clanek-289-CZ-CIAF-2017-Doprava
Airshow program is usually published few days prior the show.

This is wonderful news to hear, as I will be taking the train from Prague each morning to get to the show. This makes it much easier!

On a separate note, really looking forward to seeing my friends from the CzAF Mi-171/Mi-35 unit out of Brno! We do some operations with them from time to time, and they also come into our base for gas from time to time. Really great group of guys, and looking forward to seeing them have some fun in the air!

Disappointing, but I will still be there! Headed to Prague tomorrow and will go to the Czech Aviation Museum just outside of Prague in the early afternoon.

If anyone else will be in Prague, maybe we can go as a group to the museum, if anyone is interested?

So I am trying to find tickets to return to Prague for the evening after the show has concluded. From what I can tell, after approximately 430pm, there are no more trips on any public transportation from Hradec Kralove to Prague. Can anyone conform this or give me any suggestions? Maybe I will have to go as far as paying a taxi or Uber? That is a much more expensive route and I would like to avoid that, but it is cheaper than paying for a 2nd hotel for the night (I am already paying for my hotel in Prague!)

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thank you for that link. I grabbed a ticket for this afternoon, but it looks like there arent any for tomorrow afternoon after 3:15.

It seems I didnt plan this trip well. I should have just stayed in Hradec Kralove

AS, I just checked Deutsche Bahn website and of course there are plenty of trains from HK main station to Prague tomorrow evening. Just go to the station with the airshow bus which leaves outside the main entrance of the airport, no need to order train tickets in advance. Plenty of ATMs in the city too...

The airshow is a bit snall, but worth it for the suoerb Ukrainian Su-27 display alone, which was fllown twice like several other items.

One of the Ukranians told me they'll leave Monday morning.

One great featurec abour HR, pilots are encouraged to taxi along the entire crowdline, so that the public can get a close view and photo of the flying aircraft. Lesson to be learnt for all shows me thinks.

The weather was rasonable today thankfully, yesterday it rained here liiterally the whole day.
