10 June: Landsberg/Penzing Spotterday + Tag der Bundeswehr

The following information just came online...

Penzing airbase (better known to us as Landsberg) in southern Germany is hosting one of this years "Tag der Bundeswehr". The date is set for Saturday the 10th of June. This date is already in Scramble´s Show Dates, although the presented link is not current anymore. See below for the current link.
Additionally to the Tag der Bundeswehr a spotterday will be held on Thursday the 8th of June. I´ve been told that 51+01 will be painted in the original silver colours the first 6 Transalls were wearing in the 60s and will fly twice that day.

I plan to be in Landsberg/Penzing on Saturday. I have to work this evening so I am not making it to the spotters day today.

According to the Tag der Bundeswehr website, in attendance at Penzing will be:

A400M
CH-53
Cougar
Eurofighter
H145M
NH-90
Tiger
Tornado
C-160 (obviously)

and with the Penzing site saying there will be various demonstrations between 0900 and 1700, including transport, helos, jets, and parachute demos, sounds like it will be quite a day, quite a display of Bundeswehr aviation!
