Too many connections

Hi

A few years ago a big problem with your site. Then, when scramble moved to another ISP, problems were gone. Last week I noticed the same problems as a few years ago. What happened?

I got this message several times:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Too many connections [1040]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Please. Not the same problems as a few years ago

Nothing really happened.
Did these problems happen frequently occour the last week. I did do some maintanance work
But this was only minor and should not have interfered with the database


If and when it happens again please sent me a message with the moment it happened.
I'll than dig through our logs

Friday evenening. Thursday morning. And I believe monday morning but nit sure anymore

Since about 16:00 today having issues. Also with logging in, getting this error:

Database connection error (2): Could not connect to MySQL.

Too many connections error played up between 16:00 and 16:30.

Unfortunately the problem proofs very hard to be found. One of us is working very hard trying to solve it!

De afgelopen minuten weer een aantal keer de melding over teveel verbindingen voorbij zien komen.
