WestJet 640WestJet reveals new Boeing-order

On 3 September 2025, Boeing and WestJet announced that the Canadian-carrier has placed a new order for 67 aircraft. The order, which was already booked as "Undisclosed" in June 2025, is for 60 B737-10s and seven B787-9s.

Next to the firm order, the airline also took options on 25 B737-10s, as well on four B787-9s. Delivery of the new aircraft should be completed by 2034. With this latest order, WestJet will now have open orders with Boeing for 125 aircraft, split between 118 B737s and the seven Dreamliners.

Today, the airline's fleet is made-up of 36 B737-700s, 58 B737-800s, 56 B737-8s, and seven B787-9s. Subsidiary WestJet Encore operates 35 DHC-8-400s.
