Scoot in discussions with Embraer about the E2

Bloomberg is reporting that Scoot is in advanced discussions with Embraer for a potential order for the E190-E2 and/or the E195-E2. According to the article, a potential order could be as large as up to 50 aircraft. The same article says that both companies have declined to comment on the news.

An order for regional jets by Scoot, which is owned by Singapore Airlines, would mean a big change in the operating model for the airline group, which hasn't operated any regional aircraft so far.

Scoot's fleet today consists of 60 aircraft, made up of 25 Airbus A320-200s, six A320neos, nine A321neos, ten Boeing B787-8s and ten B787-9s.
