SAS orders E195-E2s
SAS has selected the Embraer E195-E2 for its SAS Link subsidiary and has signed an order for the type on 1 July 2025. The deal is for 45 firm aircraft, with options on another ten. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in late 2027.
The airline was deciding between the Airbus A220 and the Embraer E195-E2 for SAS Link. The subsidiary was launched in 2022 and already has extensive experience operating Embraers as the fleet currently is made-up of thirteen ERJ195s. Three more are set to follow later this year.
