orange2fly files for bankruptcy

Greece charter and ACMI-airline orange2fly has officially filed for bankruptcy on 7 September. The airline was already under bankruptcy protection since 20 October 2020 and was already inactive since August 2020. After attempts to secure additional funding failed, bankruptcy was the only way forward.

orange2fly had just a single remaining A320 in its fleet. The aircraft, SX-SOF (2479), has been stored at Craiova in Romania since 17 June 2020. The airline was founded in September 2015 and has operated a total of four A320s over the years.
