New UK start-up: Fly Atlantic

On 22 November, a new UK start-up was unveiled. The airline, called Fly Atlantic, is planning to connect Europe, the UK with North America and is planning to establish its main base at Belfast.

Fly Atlantic is in talks with Airbus and Boeing for A321neos or B737MAXs and is aiming for a launch in the summer season of 2024. Initially, it plans to start-up with six aircraft and grow to a fleet of eighteen by 2028.

The CEO of Fly Atlantic is an aviation veteran, with more than 40 years of experience with airline like British Airways, Cathay Pacific, WOW Air, VietJet and many more.
