Hydro-Quebec, Canada's largest hydroelectric provider, has announced it will start to replace its fleet later this year. The company has signed a firm order with ATR for three ATR72-600s, of which the first is due in September 2025.
The electricity company is currently using a fleet of two DHC-8-300s and two DHC-8-400s. They are used to shuttle staff around Quebec to keep its 60+ sites running.
