DHS to have its own B737-fleet
Earlier in December 2025, the US Department of Homeland Security announced it signed a contract for six Boeing B737s that will be used by the department for travel of DHS-officials as well as for deportation flights.
Details about the deal are a bit sketchy, but it seems the first aircraft has now been delivered in the form of Boeing B737-8BBJ N471US (61329). This BBJ was delivered to Andrews AFB (MD) on 12 December 2025, and is registered to Valkyrie Aviation Holdings LLC, a company based at Arlington (VA).
It wears a livery that looks very similar to the livery President Trump has selected for the new VC-25Bs, including "United States of America"-titles. Since delivery, it was ferried to Washington-Reagan International (DC) on 13 December 2025. A day later, it departed for Amman via Chania.
As this aircraft is a BBJ, we assume this aircraft won't be used for deportation-flights but for the travel of officials. According to various online aviation forums, Valkyrie has reserved five additional registrations, which tallies nicely with the six aircraft deal communicated by DHS.
Our Scramble Messageboard-user VH3D photographed the aircraft at Washington-Reagan National on 14 December 2025.
