Joining Airbus with their year-end tally, Boeing has also released the orders, cancellations and deliveries of the final month of 2021. In December, Boeing was able to note down 80 orders, one cancellation and delivered 38 new aircraft.

Ordered were:

  • 50 B737MAXs by Allegiant Air
  • 4 B777Fs by Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings
  • 7 B737MAXs by Southwest Airlines
  • 19 B767-300Fs by UPS

Over the whole year of 2021, Boeing noted down 909 orders, more than Airbus for the first time in three years. The breakdown in aircraft types is:

  • 749 B737MAXs
  • 16 P-8As
  • 1 B747-8
  • 4 B747-8Fs
  • 27 KC-46As
  • 38 B767-300Fs
  • 42 B777Fs
  • 11 B777-9s
  • 1 B787-8
  • 16 B787-9s
  • 4 B787-10s

Cancelled was:

  • 1 B737MAX by Aviation Capital Group

During 2021, Boeing logged 430 cancellations, leaving 479 net orders.

Delivered were:

  • 4 B737MAXs to Air Lease Corporation
  • 1 B737MAX to American Airlines
  • 1 B737MAX to CDB Aviation
  • 1 B737MAX to Dubai Aviation Enterprise

  • 1 B737MAX to GOL
  • 1 B737MAX to ICBC Leasing
  • 1 KC-46A to the Japan Air Self Defence Force
