Copa Airlines orders more MAXs
On 28 April 2026, Copa Airlines and Boeing signed an agreement for additional MAXs for the Panamese airline. In total, the airline has placed a firm order for 40 MAXs with options on another 20.
The exact versions will be decided closer to the planned production slot and depending on operational needs. No delivery timeline has been communicated.
Copa Airlines is an all-Boeing B737-operator. It currently employs nine B737-700s, 57 B737-800s, nineteen B737-8s, and 32 B737-9s.
