Boliviana selects A330 as B767-replacement

Boliviana de Aviacion (BoA) and Airbus have announced that the airline has selected the Airbus A330-200 to replace its fleet of four B767-300ERs. Initially, the airline will take delivery of two Airbuses around June 2022. Additional aircraft are being discussed at this stage.

With an average age of 27 years, BoA's B767 were up for replacement and the airline plans to use the A330s on the airline's longer routes as Miami (FL) and Madrid-Barajas.

Next to its current four B767s, the airline also operates seven B737-500s, four B737-700s, four B737-800s and two CRJ200s. Talks about renewing the narrowbody-fleet is also ongoing, especially for the B737-500s.
