B777F ANACargo 640ANA to merge cargo airlines

The All Nippon Airways Group has announced it will be consolidating its two cargo airlines, with Nippon Cargo Airlines being the surviving brand. From 1 April 2027, the plan is to have all dedicated cargo-operations on the Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) of Nippon Cargo.

ANA acquired Nippon Cargo in August 2025, and the merger of its cargo business doesn't come as a surprise. Today, ANA Cargo is operating a dedicated freighter fleet of six Boeing B767-300Fs and two B777Fs. Nippon Cargo in its turn is flying with eight B747-8Fs.
