Air Belgium sale cancelled, airline in trouble again

The Belgium bankruptcy court has cancelled the sale of Air Belgium to a consortium of Peso Aviation Management and Air One International Holdings. This was done on request from the airline's administrator as the Peso and Air One didn't live-up to the agreement the parties signed in December 2024.

With the cancellation of the sale, Air Belgium is again in big financial difficulties. According to a statement from the airline, it has funds for three more weeks before bankruptcy is inevitable.
