Air Astana to order new Airbuses
On 21 November 2025, Air Astana announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus for additional A320neo-family aircraft. They will be deployed with the mainline as well as with its low-cost subsidiary FlyArystan.
The deal is for a firm order for 25 A320neo-family aircraft and options on another 25. Deliveries are expected to take place from 2031 and onwards.
Today, Air Astana is operating a fleet of eleven A320neos, three A321s, seventeen A321neos and three B767-300ERs. Subsidiary FlyArystan is flying with fifteen A320s and thirteen A320neos.
