We are pleased to introduce a new edition of the Scramble Military Serials - Europe. Again a lot of hard work and effort went into making this book as accurate and up-to-date as possible. In this brand new publication you will notice that we have changed the presentation of the content to meet the wishes of our readers. We decided to leave the last noted date of each individual aircraft out so we can present the rundown divided in two columns, just like that other must have, the Scramble World Airline Fleets 2015.
What is included?
Included in this 194 page edition are all European countries, except Russia. From the United States, military aircraft permanently stationed in Europe are also included. For every country all types are listed that have at least one aircraft of that type active as of 1 February 2015, not including those only used by technical schools. We have included as much information as possible. This means that “semi-military” forces, like the French Sécurité Civile, are also included.
What is not included?
Unfortunately Russia is not included. Information on Russian forces is too scarce to produce a reasonable overview of types. For all other countries, types that are no longer in service are not shown.
New this year is an ORBAT of each country with all detailed information as can be found on our website.
