Brief history Malagasy, better known as Madagascar, is a huge island off the East coast of Africa. Despite its size and enormous teritorial waters, the air force is infinitesimal.
It consists of some small ULV type aircraft and some second hand Alouette II helicopters. All are thought to be based at Ivato airport. A boost in new material came in 2019 with the introduction of new transport aircraft and helicopters
