Pucallpa is the main operating base of the US Department of State counternarcotics program in Peru. All aircraft permanently based here are US-owned, although flown with Peruvian serials. The Peruvian navy also has a detachment here, with no permanently based aircraft.
 
Like all branches of the Peruvian armed forces, the PNP operates a handful of Antonov An-32s. The hot and high capacities of this transport are highly credited in the South American country.
