Mi-17s were delivered to the DAAFAR from 1983, most of which are still in operational use. This example is equipped with a hoist and rocketpods to perform a variety of roles.

Aerogaviota is the commerical branch of the DAAFAR and has its headquarters here.
The ATR of UM 3405 is flown in Cubana c/s, but is operated by Aerogaviota as a domestic VIP-transport. A Cubana Il-96-300 can be used for long range VIP duties.
