In it’s lifetime within the RNLAF, the CH-47D Chinook has proved itself as a real workhorse. Another eight F-models will be purchased while the D-models will be updated to this F standard in the near future.

The mighty AH-64D Apache was delivered from 1998 and is the first and only attack helicopter. Six of them are on a permanent stay in the USA while others are operated in Afghanistan.

Also based here is LCW (Logistiek Centrum Woensdrecht - Logistic Centre Woensdrecht ) taking care of heavy maintenance for RNlAF aircraft.
Stork Aerospace is also situated at this base. Maintenance for many RNlAF aircraft is performed here, but also for the KNL F-16 and Fokker aircraft of foreign states. Also many Fokkers are stored here.
