Every Reparto Elicotteri from the Polizia dello Stato is equipped with a mix of helicopters. The exact number depends on the location but every unit has the following types on strength. The AB206 (see picture), AB212 and A109. Some units also are equipped with the Partenavia P.68OBS observation plane.

The only fixed wing aircraft on charge with the Poliza dello Stato is the Partenavia P.68OBS Observer. In 2000 an additional order was placed with Vulcanair, the manufacturer of this plane, for six more aircraft. When these are delivered the Polizia will have a total of 15 of these planes on strength. The serial system of these planes is slightly different than used on helicopters. The Observers are registered as PS-A97 until PS-A99 andPS-B01 until PS-B12.

The Polizia dello Stato operates with 15 Italian developed and built Agusta A109 helicopters of which an example is shown here. The helicopters are used for liaisons, light transport and observation tasks.
