Scramble Index 2007
After the first year of Scramble published in English, we must say it was a tough year, but well worth it.
But what was not changed, is the yearly index; here you can download 2007.

Scramble Index 2004
The article index is published yearly in the February issue of our magazine. As Scramble is an ideal reference work it we though it was a good idea to publish such an index on our website.
Here you can download the index of 2004. More overviews of the previous years will be published here shortly.

Article Search
Due to some technical problems we are no longer able to present you the searchable database with all articles published in our magazine between 1996 and 2002. We hope to have this solved in the near future.
As an intermediate sollution we give the opportunity to download copies (in PDF format) of the indexes for the years 2002 and 2003 as published in issues 285 and 297.

Digital Images
Digital is the form in which we prefer to get images for use in the magazine and on the website. We are always happy to receive quality digital originals (from a digital camera) and scans (from slides, negatives or prints) that you are willing to make available to us. Please read the instructions below before uploading.
Send us pictures with a minimum width of 1600 pixels. Scramble is printed at 300dpi and photos are usually 13 centimeters wide. This means any image less than 1600 pixels wide (actually 1535, but we have to be on the safe side) will not provide the quality we need. On the other side, more is better, so larger images are welcome - the only limit is a reasonable file size in the email.
Latest info: Currently Scramble cover photos are printed in a larger size at 400dpi meaning no less than 2050 pixels in width and 2800 in height are required.
The preferred file formats are JPEG (.jpg) and TIFF (.tif) but bear in mind file size could be a problem with TIFF. Be sure to use minimum compression when converting to JPEG, otherwise quality will be lost!
If you really want to spoil us, use file names like F27_C 1_Soesterberg_02dec81_YourName.jpg, but this is not a must. However, we do need information like photographer, date and location. We also very much appreciate any additional info about the aircraft and the conditions for photographing at the concerned location. Please provide this information in your email or even within the image file (IPTC or EXIF info).
Obviously, manipulation of photos (like changing registrations or anything else) makes them unacceptable. Enhancing your photos (colour correction, sharpening etc.) is OK if you know how to do this. If you are unsure about it just leave it to us.
Unless stated otherwise you give Scramble permission to use your submitted material in the magazine and on the website.
