Post by bunt »

Here are some photos of the arrival of the Slovak Mig-29s for the exercise 'Strela 1' at Swidwin, Poland. During this exercise 28 R-60 missiles would be fired over the Ustka range by 14 pilots. A flare bomb would be used as target.

Revisiting Swidwin for armed Slovak Mig-29s flying day

Post by bunt »

After the visit to ZLOT 2008 at Poznan Krzesiny we revisited Swidwin again to see the Slovak Mig-29 flying with R-60s. Thanks to our Polish hosts we were able to photograph the Mig-29s and Su-22s from different angles and sides of the airfield. I thank them for their great hospitality and patience.

Dziękuję bardzo!

The support that day consisted of one An-26 and a Let-410.

Quite a long post on my behalf, I hope you have enjoyed the photos.

Very impressed with your visit and shots guys. Great to see the UB with still the same c/s as when I was sitting in it some 14 years ago.
