Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

On our way to, and at Landivisiau, we did some W&R hunting resulting in the following:

And Landivisiau (These weren't taken for beautyful pics, but more to document what was there before we got kicked out of there):

We went to some other places as well, saw this one at Caen. Some 10 years ago there were three as far as I remember (should check my slidecollection...), but now only one remains..
Image

This one is preserved at Amiens, near the operational hangar where two Ecureuils are based. Serial on the fuselage says 2202, on the nose it looked like 2010... a composite?

in Brest there was a SEM n°25 in great shape just under the castle. I have not the image sorry, we found it casually the last night and the morning after we had to leave.

Sure no problem,

1: Brest Marine Museum (only temporary for Tour de France)
2 and 3: Landivisiau Gate
4: Landivisiau Dump
5: Dinan
6 and 7: Rennes St Jacques

Polecat, your All3 at Amiens is indeed a composite. Its 2010/JBM, with only 2 side panels from 2202.

DJ

For my own records: what unit is the badge on Etendard 163? And did the other aircraft in the storage line here carry any markings? All I know is that Etendard 52 had small 11F titles (from another picture). Shame I was not allowed to walk along the line as well (or better said, I was too late.....).

Too late?? I was under the impression you were one of the guys entering the line at the same time I did, and I saw all of them ;-)

I'm just not into unitmarkings..

I was stupid enough to wait to take a clean photo of the one with special markings (without all of you in the background.... ), and was sent back then....
