The Czech air force makes their second appearance at the TLP, again with a contingent of L-159A ALCA aircraft. By 2004 Aero Vodochody had completed delivery of 72 L-159s ALCAs to the Czech air force. However following the disbanding of 32.zTL at Náměšt nad Oslavou in late 2003 only 24 aircraft are now remaining in service with 212.tl at Čáslav. The remaining aircraft are placed in storage, awaiting possible sales to other countries or being rebuilt to the dual seater L-159B version.

This F-16C belongs to 347 Mira, known as 'Perseus'. Perseus was a mythic heroe of the Greek mythology who is known for killing Medusa, the monstrous female whose gaze could turn onlookers to stone. The gods Hermes and Athena helped him performing this mission. Hermes gave him a pair of his winged sandals (talaria), while Athena gave him a sword and a highly-polished shield. These attributes are depicted in the badge of the unit and in the unit marking on the tail of this Fighting Falcon.

The second edition of this year's TLP, the Ejército del Aire has used its slots to send two different units, both equipped with the Hornets, to Florennes. Next to two F/A-18As of Ala 46, normally based at Gando at the isle of Las Palmas, also two EF-18A+ Hornets of Ala 15, normally based at Zaragoza are sent. Here depicted is a Hornet which still suffers from a bit of tigermeteritus, as the Tiger Meet 2006 was held at its homebase Zaragoza. The pilot suffers from hanglooseritus, which is also very contagious.

The RAF is known for its aircraft decorated for special occasions. Most of them are also send to the TLP, just like this Tornado F3 of 43 sq. Known as the Fighting Cocks, the unit was commissioned in 1916 during the First World War while flying the Sopwith 1˝-Strutters. Hereafter, the unit was equipped with the Gloster Gamecock, hence the name and the badge. Ninety years later, the unit flies the Tornado F3 from RAF Leuchars.
