Bromma is a small airport with some domestic services (Malmö Aviation), international ones (Sun Air) and a lot of general aviation. There are also a lot of bizjets coming here as Bromma is very close to the city centre. Due the proximity of the city also the VIP-aircraft of the Swedish Air Force are based here.

Although this is only a small airport, spotting can be a bit tricky as there are so many places to hide aircraft. Just behind the main buildings is a hill, on top of this hill you have a excellent view over the airport and when the are using runway 12 for take off, nice take off shots are possible as you are well clear of the fence here. Same goes for runway 30, the aircraft are taxiing right in front of you. On the right side of the terminal a lot of the old big hangars have been converted to large shoppingcenters. Inbetween the terminal and those hangars, you can see a couple of the GA aircraft parked here.

A lot of hangars can be found here, some even have windows at the back. Ramp shots are possible over the fence.

Landing 12
|
|
A little further to the west of the central area is the landing of runway 30, goog approach shots can be taken there. As the airport lays a little higher than the road it it not possible to take shots on the runway here.

Getting There
|
|
During weekdays a regular bus runs to the airport from the nearby parts of Stockholm. A 'flygbus'-service runs from the Central Station all day but at iregular intervals.
