General
This former F-16 base in the south of the country between Breda and Tilburg is now in use by the helicopters of 299sq, 301sq and 302sq. So a lot of helos can be seen here, like the Bo105 and the AH-64D Apache. Other traffic has since the departure of the fighters slowed down.
Around The Airport
Runway 28
Along the road there are plenty of good spots to take pictures. As the threshold of the runway is a couple of meters next to the road, traffic lights are placed there to stop the traffic. From this spot you also have a nice view over the base but, because there are many trees, you can't see a lot. To the left of the runway is the former USAF reserve base, which now is no longer in use.
Along the N282
You have a good view of the apron from along this road, there are some spots where you stop and read off parked helicopters. Also from here you can take pictures when runway 20 is in use.
The Main Gate
At the gate a NF-5, a Bo105 and a F-84 are preserved.
Runway 10
Along the small road you can park your car and from there you have a nice view of runway 10.
Historical Flight Apron
From the dead end road you have a view of the KLu Historical Flight apron.
Runway 02
Along this road you have various spots were you can see the aircraft on runway 02 and also you have a good view of this side of the base.
Vijfeiken
Not on the base, but quite close by. On the Industrial Estate Vijfeiken, a Hunter (N-129) and a French T-33 (51-4114) were stored but were recently removed.
