Yearly from 15 April till 30 September, there is high military glider activity here. Military Jodels are used for towing. The airfield is very open due to its civil status.
The airfield has two parallel grass runways, one of which is partly covered with concrete. To the north are hangars and trucks for the gliders. To the south the local aeroclub and the military hangars are located.
From highway A71/E9 north of Vierzon, take highway A85/E604 to the west towards Romorantin-Lanthenay. From this highway, take road D922 southbound to Villefranche and then N76 towards Sefles. You have to take road D724 to the north to pass the airfield at your right side.
