Perris Valley DC-9 flies again

Post by SBGrad »

More than 20 years ago, Perris Valley Skydiving bought an ex-SAS DC-9-21 N127NK and used it as a jump ship. Engine problems grounded the plane for 18 years. Perris announced plans in 2020 to re certify the aircraft, and just last week flew the plane. One day of test fights, then 2 days for jumpers.

The runway at Perris Valley has no tower, and is only 5100'x50'.
