This open day was organised by the Sécurité Civile and as
they only have limited platform space at Nîmes, the number of
participants was also limited. The flying display was
performed with backlight, so photographers had a difficult
time... The fire fighting display of the three Marseille based
aircraft was very spectacular. Most interesting aircraft was the
DC-8 of the government of Gabon, which was parked outside
the Sabena Technics hangar.
